Introduction
My faith is something that is very important to me. It is the core of who I am and supports me in all that I do. There are times when my faith is stronger, and there are times when I feel it is so weak. But I have learned that in those weak moments, I tend to think that I need to rely on my own strength in order to achieve moments of strong faith...but what I have learned is that we need to rely solely on the Lord's strength to give us faith.
There have been many moments in my life where I've grown in faith, and many more moments where I felt like I was ten steps behind where I used to be. We all go through seasons of faith and seasons of prayer. We all get discouraged easily. We forget the bigger picture. Personally, I focus too much on what is ahead to appreciate the "now", so I am blind to what the Lord is currently doing in my life. I plan to journey through my own seasons of faith in my writing and establish a safe place where I can freely reflect. I am excited to encounter Christ through the words He places on my heart to share openly with others.
I also wanted to create this blog to let people know that they are not alone, and that seasons of faith come and go. I want to encourage you to persevere in prayer and your relationship with the Lord because He is right there waiting for you to turn to Him. I am writing solely to share my experiences of how I've noticed the ways the Lord has worked in my life - whether that be through friendships, hardships, opportunities, or small blessings.
If you have any input, insights, or comments, please share them with me! I'd love to hear your feedback.
Thanks,
Hannah Mae
